Here I am enjoying a Nutribullet smoothie after a days snowboarding!

Traveling and eating healthily┬ácan sometimes be somewhat challenging. For short journeys you can always prepare juices and smoothies at home and take them with you, but for longer trips the last thing you want to be doing is lugging around a heavy juicer or blender! These days, I find that the nutribullet is the best portable device for smoothies. I’m yet to find a portable juicer, so I tend to just consume smoothies when travelling – which is fine for me!

For years, my friends would go snowboarding every year. Unfortunately I couldn’t join them because my Crohns Disease was so bad! Thanks to the power of juicing and blending, I’m now healed and have been snowboarding with my friends for the last 3 years so far. Taking the nutribullet was so useful! Up in the French Alps there were no juice bars, but I did manage to find lots of salad leaves/spinach/bananas/avocado – so blending all these together made the perfect health boost for recovery!

Travelling on a plane with a blender

Please do not try and travel with any blender in your hand luggage, or you will just have it seized from you at airport security as it contains blades. Instead, pack your nutribullet into your cargo luggage. This has never been a problem for me and has worked every time. If you are still concerned, it’s probably best checking with your airlines to ensure they’re ok with it.
